Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Add Notes to Specifier (Office Master)

In an office master family, add notes to specifier to provide guidance to contributors, authors, and design professionals in your firm who will use the family in their projects.

To add notes to specifier:

  1. Open an office master version of a family or any of its product types in the office master workspace.
  2. In the office master workspace, show notes to specifier.
  3. On the element form, click one of the following tabs:
    • General
    • Products
    • Execution
  4. On your selected tab, click article or paragraph to which to add the notes to specifier.
  5. On the workspace toolbar, click .
    You can also press CTRL+ALT+S.
    A new note displays with the following placeholder: "Insert note here...".
  6. In the new notes to specifier, click its text placeholder and enter the note content for the users that will include the article in their projects.
  7. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
