Command Center

The Costpoint™ Command Center is designed to provide users with real-time visibility into their projects.

By leveraging interactive dashboards and intuitive visualizations, it helps users focus on high-priority tasks and make informed decisions quickly.

With the Command Center, you can:

  • Identify and respond to time-sensitive tasks with greater efficiency.
  • Analyze and monitor data at a glance through interactive dashboards.
  • Navigate seamlessly to related Costpoint applications or Business Intelligence (BI) reports directly from dashboard widgets.

For Costpoint 2025.4, the Command Center supports the Project Analyst and Accountant roles. In future releases, additional roles and their corresponding dashboard tabs will be added to expand functionality.

Prerequisites

Before accessing the Command Center, ensure the following:

  • You are using the new user interface (UI). To enable the new UI, go to the Configure User Preferences screen and set New User Interface to Yes. This setting is visible only if enabled by your system administrator.
  • You are assigned a project role to view dashboard tabs.
  • Top-level projects are classified as Direct, Inter-Company, or Inter-Co Multi on the Manage Project User Flow screen.
  • Top-level projects are marked Active on the Manage Project User Flow screen.
