Remove a Group from a Folder

You remove a group from a document folder to revoke the group's access to the folder and to the project documents within it. When you remove access to a parent folder, you do not also remove access to its subfolders automatically. You must remove access for each subfolder individually.

You must be an owner of a space, or an owner of the folder.

To remove a group from a document folder:

  1. In the Navigation pane, click Spaces.
  2. Click the space to navigate to it.
To search for a space, enter the name in the Search Spaces field.
  3. Click the Documents tab.
  4. In the Folders tree, click > View Properties for the folder that you want to modify.
If the Folders tree is not displayed, click to display it.
  5. In the Folder dialog box, click on the Groups section header.
  6. Click for the group that you want to remove.
  7. Click Save.
Members of a removed group may still have access to the document folder through their other group memberships.
