Modify Group Access Rights on a Folder

You can change a group's access rights on a document folder. When you modify the access rights on a parent folder, you do not also change the access rights on any subfolders automatically. You must modify the access rights for each subfolder individually.

You must be an owner of a space, or an owner of the folder.

To modify a group's access rights on a folder:

  1. In the Navigation pane, click Spaces.
  2. Click the space to navigate to it.
To search for a space, enter the name in the Search Spaces field.
  3. Click the Documents tab.
  4. In the Folders tree, click > View Properties for the folder that you want to modify.
If the Folders tree is not displayed, click to display it.
  5. In the Folder dialog box, click on the Groups section header.
  6. From the Access list, select the new access rights for the group.
Repeat this step for all groups that you want to modify.
  7. Click Save.
