Use this procedure to restore data from a backup.
To restore data from a backup:

From the File menu, click
.

In the Open dialog box, select the backup file that you want to restore and click
Open.

On the first page of the Restore wizard, select the files to restore and the items that you want included and click
Next.

On the Restore – Details page, expand the hierarchy to view which files are selected for the restoration process.

Select or clear any items, as appropriate.

Click
Finish.
For each item to be restored, Open Plan checks whether the item exists on the target database and takes one of the following actions:
- If the item does not exist on the target database, Open Plan restores the item.
- If the item exists on the target database, Open Plan displays the Restore Target Exists dialog box.

For each Restore Target Exists dialog box that displays, select the appropriate option and click
Yes:

Skip restore of file
-
Overwrite existing file
- Rename and restore
If you plan to take the same action for all the items, select the appropriate action and click
Yes All.
