Use this procedure to change the access rights of an object.
To change the access rights of an object:

Click

On the Change Owner and Access Rights dialog box, in the
[Results] box, select the object(s) for which you want to change the access rights.
- To select more than one object, use CTRL+click or SHIFT+click.
- To select all objects displayed, click
Select All.
- To display only those objects specific to an owner or an object type, select the appropriate value in the
Owner drop-down list or
Objects drop-down list.

Click
Change Access Rights.
If you selected baseline objects, the Change Baseline Access Rights dialog box displays.
If you selected other types of objects, the Change Access Rights dialog box displays.
If you selected baseline and other objects, a message displays informing you that you need to change baseline access rights separately.

On the Change Access Rights or Change Baseline Access dialog box, in the Delete From Access List section, you can select a group or user you want to remove from the access control list for the selected object(s) and click
Delete.

On the confirmation message that informs you that Open Plan will replace all access rights for the selected objects with the access rights currently displayed in the table, click
Yes.

In the Selected Objects Access Control or Selected Baseline Objects Access Control section, select the level of access that you want to add to the object from the drop-down list.
Open Plan adds the corresponding access control entries to the table.

In the table, add and/or delete the desired groups and users and make the necessary change to the entries.

Select
Replace Access List or
Add to Access List.

Click
Update Access Controls.

On the confirmation dialog box, click
Yes.

Click
Close twice.
When you change access control information, you can add or delete individual access control entries, or you can replace all existing access control entries with a new set of access control entries.
