Change the Owner of an Object

Use this procedure to change the owner of an object.

To change the owner of an object:

  1. From the File menu, click Manage Files > Owner and Access Rights.
  2. In the Change Ownership and Access Rights dialog box, select the object or objects for which you want to change the owner.
    To select more than one object, use CTRL+click or SHIFT+click.
    To select all objects displayed, click Select All.
  3. Click Change Owner.
  4. Select a new owner from the New Owner drop-down list in the Change Owner dialog box and click OK.
  5. Click Close.
