View or Join Employee Task Conversations
Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can view conversations about tasks that are assigned to other employees in Resources.
Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
To join or view employee task conversations:
- On the main toolbar, click Resources .
- On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.

Select the employee assigned to the task containing the conversation that you want to view or join by completing any of the following actions:
- In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the employee, then select it from the grid.
- Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Employees as your filter, and select the employee from the grid.
- On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the employee card.
- On the side toolbar of the employee card, click Tasks .
- Click the Grid View tab .
- Click on the top toolbar of the employee card, then click View Schedule on a Subpage.
- In the top grid, select a job.
- In the middle grid, select the task associated with the conversation that you want to view or join.
- On the top toolbar of the top grid, click Task Conversation .
- Use the comment field to start or reply to a conversation.

Private.
- Public: the conversation is visible to all companies in WorkBook and their employees.
- Private: the conversation is visible only to the selected company and its employees.
