Create One-on-One Conversations on a Task
Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can have one-on-one task conversations with employees in Resources. All one-on-one conversations are private - only you and the employee that you are having the conversation with have access to the conversation. You can also view your one-on-one conversations in Inbox.
Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
To create a one-on-one conversation on a task:
- On the main toolbar, click Resources .
- On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.

Select the employee that you want to have a one-on-one conversation with by completing any of the following actions:
- In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the employee, then select it from the grid.
- Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Employees as your filter, and select the employee from the grid.
- On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the employee card.
- On the side toolbar of the employee card, click 1:1 Conversations .
- Use the Comment field to start or reply to a conversation and click Private.
- To view the conversation in your Inbox, position your mouse pointer over the right margin of the conversation pane and click Get Deep Link to This Comment .
- To edit your comment, position your mouse pointer over the right margin of the conversation pane and click Edit Comment .
