Use this procedure to create an export file from schedule data in Deltek PM Compass.

To create the export file:
On the Navigation menu, click Administration » General Import and Export » Schedule Export. The Schedule Export form displays on the right pane. The General tab displays by default.
On the form toolbar, click New and then select any of the following options:
New Record — Select this option to create a schedule export configuration.
Copy Current Record — Select this option to create a copy of the record currently selected. This is useful when you want to create a new configuration that is almost identical to the current configuration; you only need to modify a few details and leave most of the existing details intact.
Select Records to Copy — Select this option to create a record by searching for the configuration to copy.
The <New Configuration> form displays.
On the General tab, configure general settings and filter options. For more information, see Configure General Settings for the Export Process.
Click the Export Files tab.
Specify the name and location of the export file.
On the same tab, select fields that you want to include in the export file. For more information, see Select Fields to Include in an Export File.
Click the Schedule Export tab.
Specify scheduled settings and parameters. For more information, see Schedule an Export.
This step only applies to either an owner of an entity or a member of the SYSADMIN group. Click the Access Control tab.
Define access rights that groups or individual users have to the file. For more information, see Add a User or Group of Users to the Access Control List.
On the form toolbar, click Save.
On the form toolbar, click Export. When the export process finishes, a message displays.
