The General tab of the Schedule Export form contains various settings and filter options for the schedule export process. When you display the form, all controls on the General tab are disabled. If there are existing configurations, Deltek PM Compass displays the last configuration setting that was opened. Otherwise, you need to create a new record to enable the controls.

Enter a unique name for the schedule export configuration using up to 59 alphanumeric characters. After you save the settings, you can use this configuration for future exports.
This field is optional. Enter a brief description on how this configuration should be used using up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the name of a PM Compass project or click to search for the project. Clicking the Search icon displays the Project Search dialog box, which only displays all PM Compass projects that have the Internal schedule type.
Beside this field is a blank field for the project description. This field displays the corresponding description for the selected project.
This group box allows you to limit the data included in the export file. It includes the following options:
No Filter — Select this option if you do not want PM Compass to apply any filter to the data being export. This option is selected by default.
Use Filter — Select this option if you want PM Compass to apply a filter to the data being exported. Selecting this filter displays the Activity Search dialog box, which only displays activity data filters applicable to the schedule export process.
Exclude Summary Activities from the Exported Data — Select this option if you want PM Compass to include the lowest level activities (or those that do not have child activities) in the export file.
Select this option if you want PM Compass to add the appropriate duration indicators to duration fields as well as the percent (%) symbol to percent fields. For new records, this option is not selected.
