Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

View an Assembly's or Division's Families (Element Library)

As a member of the office master access group, view an assembly's or division's families in the element library to begin managing your firm's baseline project content, which includes MasterSpec families and published office master families.

To view an assembly's or a divisions's families:

  1. Open the element library.
  2. On the action bar of the element library, click Assemblies or Divisions to activate your preferred view.
  3. In the Assembly view of the Elements pane, select a lowest-level assembly. Alternatively, in Divisions view, select a division.
    For assemblies, you can click an assembly to display its subassemblies. Element paths typically have the following assembly levels:
    • Assembly: Assembly Group
      • Assembly: Subassembly Group
        • Assembly: Subassembly Type
    You can also search for an assembly or division.
  4. In the element library, view the assemblies under the selected assembly or division.
