Set Assembly Code for a Revit Model Element

Set an assembly code to create an association between an assembly from your Specpoint project and an element in your Revit model.

Before you set assembly codes, you must open a Revit model with a linked Revit project.

To set the assembly codes for a Revit model element:

  1. In Revit, select an element in your model.
  2. On the Specpoint tab on the Revit ribbon, click Set Assembly Code.
  3. In the Categories field in the Set Assembly Code dialog box, select a building category to filter the list of Project Elements.
  4. To view all available Specpoint assemblies, select All Project Elements. To view only added assemblies, click Added to Project.
