Product Selection Interactions

For product type properties, your option set selections aid in the product selection of your A/E firm's project specifications. When you select an option, Specpoint filters the product listings in the Product Listings window to show only listings that have option/value selections for their product properties that match your selection in the product type property paragraph. This ensures that you can only select product listings that fit the product requirements that you specified.

Likewise, in the Product Listings window, when you add a product listing to your project, option sets of associated product type properties will have options selected that match the product properties of the added listing. This automated change does not apply to product type properties in which you already selected options from their option sets.
