Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.
    Ex.system administration

Needs Attention Items for Import

Use this reference to gain insight on how to identify the error items that your uploaded families may include and how to resolve these errors.

Note: These items are available for both project-level import and office master import.

Navigate to the following needs attention or error items:

Styling

Type Description
Issue The uploaded family included content in an unsupported style.

Solution Perform the following steps:
  1. Download the MasterSpec Style Template from Specpoint.
  2. Adjust the styles in the family in the Word document. You may need to set the styles for each line.

  3. Re-upload and import the family.

Duplicate Properties

Type Description
Issue The uploaded family included duplicate key values, such as article names, product type names, or paragraph text that exists before a colon.

Solution Perform the following steps:
  1. Rename the duplicate key values to unique values in the Word document of the family.
  2. Re-upload and import the family.
