Contents of the Edit Project Details Pane

Use the contents of this pane to update information about a project.

Navigate to the following contents:

General Information

Field Description
Project Group Select the group in which the project belongs.

The default project group is <Your A/E firm name> Projects.

As an administrator, you can select + Add New Project Group to create a new project group.

Project Number Enter the number or code which identifies the project.
Project Name Enter the project's name.
Construction Budget Select the budget range for the project's construction.

Gross Building Area Enter the project's gross floor area.
Project Date Select the project completion date.
Issue For Enter the purpose or reason for which the addendum was issued.
Issue Date Select the date when the addendum was issued for the project.
Addendum Number Enter the number or code that identifies the addendum that was issued for the project.
Level of Specification Select a default project-wide level of specification (LOS) to automate a baseline for your current project phase. As the project progresses and requires additional level of development, increase the level of specification (LOS) to convey detail needed for the current phase.
Note: This field is available only for projects that were assigned a Level of Specification during project creation. Earlier projects might not include this option.

Project Location

Field Description
Address Enter the first line of the project's address.
Address 2 Enter the second line of the project's address if applicable.
City Enter the city where your project is located.
State/Province Select the state or province where your project is located.
Zip Enter the zip code for your project's location.
Country Select the country where your project is located.

Project Parameters

Field Description
Building Type Select the type or purpose of the building for your project.

Contract Type Select one or multiple construction contract types for parties involved in the project design and construction.

Construction Type Select the types of materials used in the project's construction and structure's resistance to fire.

Sustainability Select the environmental code to which the project adheres.

Owner Select the individual, organization, or authority that owns the project's building or facility. You can also select + Add New Owner to add a new project owner.

Geographic Region Select the climate of the project's location based on ASHRAE's defined geographic regions.

Seismic Zone Select the seismic design category of the project's location based on FEMA's classification system.

Wind Zone Select the NIST wind zone to indicate the frequency and strength of windstorms in the project's location.

UpCodes Click this button to open the UpCodes resource for industry compliance codes. Using UpCodes empowers you to identify accurate project parameters and code requirements to drive meaningful automation.

For projects in the United States, clicking this button opens a compliance code resource based on your selected State.

Options

Option Description
Save Click this button to save the changes that you made and update project information.
Cancel Click this button to cancel editing the project.
