Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Delete an Office Master Version of a Family

As a member of the office master access group, delete a published office master version of a family to stop using it in future projects.

When you delete published office master content, multiple rules and automated changes apply. For more information, see Office Master Rules and Mechanics.

To delete an office master version of a family from the element library:

  1. Open the element library.
  2. In the element library, select an assembly or division to view its families.
  3. From the assembly's/division's families, select a family.
  4. In the Family Details pane, click .
  5. In the Delete Office Master dialog box, select a version of the family from the Office Master dropdown.
    Note: You can delete a family's duplicate versions, except for the MasterSpec version.
  6. Click Confirm.
