Contract View Charts and Tables
Use the charts and tables on the Contract View tab to review performance across multiple contracts and to identify contracts that you want to analyze in more detail on the other analytics tabs.
- Sort View Table (Multi-Project)
The Sort View table on the Contract View tab displays the schedule variance (SV), cost variance (CV), and variance at completion (VAC), by contract and element, for the selected level of the structure (the work breakdown structure, for example). - Bottom and Top Variance Tables (Multi-Project)
For each contract, the three Bottom variance tables on the Contract View tab display the five structure elements with the largest negative schedule variances (SV), cost variances (CV), or variances at completion (VAC). The three Top variance tables display the five structure elements for each contract with the largest positive variances of each type. Click
next to the
Level column heading to select the structure level for which you want to display bottom and top variances.
- Bottom to Top Variance Chart (Multi-Project)
For all of the selected contracts, the Bottom to Top Variance chart in the lower-left corner of the Contract View tab displays the variance amounts or percentages, from the lowest to the highest value, for elements at the selected level of the contract structure. - SV % and CV % Distribution Chart (Multi-Project)
The SV % and CV % Distribution Chart on the Contract View tab plots a "bubble" for each element based on that element's cumulative cost variance and schedule variance percentages. The size of each bubble communicates additional information about each element's performance relative to the other elements. For example, you can have the bubble sizes reflect the cumulative cost variance in dollars so you can focus on those with the largest variances. - Variance Chart (Multi-Project)
The Variance chart on the Contract View tab provides a comparison of schedule variance, cost variance, or variance at completion trends for the selected contracts. - BCWP to Total Budget Comparison Chart (Multi-Project)
The BCWP to Total Budget Comparison chart displays cumulative BCWP and remaining budget for elements at the selected level of the contract structure. - Contract Information Table
The Contract Information table available from all tabs displays some basic information about the contract to provide context for the data analysis. To display the table, click Show Contract Info in the box that displays the contract and period. Click Hide Contract Info in that box to hide the table.
