You can create, edit, and print purchase orders, including standard POs, service POs, blanket orders and releases against them, and change orders. You can base a purchase order on an existing requisition or request for price quote.

A standard purchase order is a contract to purchase specified items in specified quantities, at specified prices, under specified delivery terms. - Create a Service Purchase Order

You can automatically create asset items and equipment items in the Equipment hub from line items that you enter as change orders for purchase orders. - Create an Asset Item or Equipment Item from a Release Order
Asset items and equipment items can be generated automatically in the Equipment hub from release order line items for blanket purchase orders. - Cancel a Purchase Order
After you final print a standard or service purchase order, you cannot delete it. However, you can cancel a final printed standard or service purchase order if an accounts payable voucher has not yet been created for it.
