Create a Validation Rule

This procedure allows you to create a rule that validates data before Open Plan processes it.

To create a validation rule:

1. On the Tools tab, click User Validations.
2. In the User Defined Validations dialog box, click New.
3. In the Edit User Defined Validations  dialog box, enter or select the necessary information.
4. When you are done, click OK.
5. Click Close.
