Copy a Validation Rule

This procedure allows you to copy an existing validation rule.

To copy a validation rule:

1. On the Tools tab, click User Validations.
2. From the list of rules in the User Defined Validation dialog box, select the rule that you want to copy.
3. Click Copy.
4. In the Edit User Defined Validations dialog box, enter or select the necessary information.
5. When you are done, click OK.
6. Click Close.
