Insert Subproject Dialog Box
The Insert Subproject dialog box enables you to select one or more projects or project templates to be inserted as a subproject in the currently open project.
When you select one ore more project templates and then click OK, the Insert Project Templates dialog box displays. You can use this dialog to modify the settings for the project template(s) you are inserting.
For both Projects and Project Templates, you can select multiple items to insert at one time. Use CTRL+click or SHIFT+click to select the items to insert.
When you select Project from the list at the top of the dialog box, the projects available to you display in a table with the following information:
- Name: This is the name assigned to the file.
- Description: The description provides more detail about the file. If a description has not been entered for the file, this column will be blank.
- Owner: This is the name of the file’s owner. In most cases, the owner is the user who created the file. Demo files shipped with Open Plan have been entered into the database without owner names.
- Last Update: This is the date when the file was last updated.
Selecting a project and clicking OK inserts it as an external subproject.
