Code File Conflicts Dialog Box
The Code File Conflict dialog box gives you the option to add the additional code file assignment to the project.
The code file assignments associated with the project take precedence over the ones associated with the project templates. For example, if the project has a code file assigned to Code 1 and the project template has a different code file assigned to Code 1, the project code file is used and the project template code file is removed.
A conflict occurs when the project template contains additional code file assignments that the project does not have. Using the previous example, assume the project template file has an additional code file assigned to Code 2. When trying to add the project template to the project, Open Plan displays the Code File Conflicts dialog box that you can use to resolve the conflict.
The Code File Conflicts dialog box gives you the option to add the additional code file assignment to the project. The grid in the dialog box lists the code file assignments that are contained in the project template. When you select an assignment number (C1, C2, and so on), you can use the list at the top of the grid to select the code file to assign.
Also, if you are assigning more than one template to the project, all the additional code file assignments are contained in the list. For example, assume you are assigning three project templates to a project and the project has only one code file assignment (Code 1). Also assume that along with a Code 1 assignment, each template has an additional but different code file assigned to Code 2. When you select assignment C2 on the Code Conflicts dialog box, the list at the top of the grid enables you to choose from the three different code files from the three templates.
When you have made your selections for the code file assignments and you click Finish, the selected code files are assigned to the project. The code files you did not select are ignored.
