Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Stretching an Activity Duration

Use this procedure to stretch an activity duration.

To allow an activity duration to be stretched during resource scheduling:

  1. Take one of the following actions to display the Activity Details dialog box:
    • Double-click the appropriate activity.
    • Right-click the appropriate activity, and click Edit Activity on the shortcut menu.
    • Select the appropriate activity, and click Details in the Dialogs menu group of the Edit tab.
  2. On the Advanced tab, use the Max Duration field to enter the maximum time period for the activity duration if it is stretched.
  3. Click Apply.
Note: Open Plan stretches an activity duration only if doing so allows an activity to be scheduled that would otherwise be delayed due to insufficient resource availabilities.
