Change a Milestone Symbol (Barchart)

Use this procedure to change a milestone symbol.

To change a milestone symbol:

1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in barchart view.
2. In the Barchart menu group of  the View tab, click Bar Sets.
3. In the Bar Sets dialog box, select a bar set that contains the bar for which you want to change a milestone symbol, and click Edit.
4. On the Bar Attributes tab of the Bar Set Preferences dialog box, click Bar Types.
5. In the Bar Types dialog box, select the Right field for the Milestone bar type.
   Open Plan identifies a milestone by the symbol you select for the Right field. Any symbol you select in the Left field is ignored.
6. Click the ellipsis button at the right edge of the edit box.
7. In the Symbols dialog box,  select the appropriate symbol, and click OK.
8. In the Bar Set Preferences dialog box, click OK.
