Define Activity Bar Attributes

Use this procedure to define the attributes of an activity bar.

To define the attributes of an activity bar:

1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in barchart view.
2. In the Barchart menu group of the View tab, click Bar Sets.
3. In the Bar Sets dialog box, select a bar set that will contain the bar that you want to create, and click Edit.
4. From the Bar Attributes tab of the Bar Set Preferences dialog box, select a new row.
5. In the Criterion column, select the filter that will be used to determine whether Open Plan should use this bar to represent an activity.
6. Define the appearance of the activity bar by selecting the appropriate elements in the Bar Type, Pattern, Outline, Fill, and Visibility columns.
7. In the Label column, enter a name for the bar.
8. Click OK.
