Assign Skills to a Resource

Use the Resource Details dialog box to assign skills to a resource.

To assign skills to a resource:

1. In Open Plan Explorer, display a Resource View.
2. Take one of the following actions:
   • Click Details in the Dialogs menu group of the Edit tab.
   • Double-lick anywhere on the view.
3. In the Resource Details dialog box, click the Skills tab.
4. With the Resource Details dialog box displayed, select a resource pool in the Resource View.
5. From the drop-down list under the Desc field, select the first skill you want to assign to the resource.
   The list contains only those skills already added to the resource file. You can add multiple skills to a resource by selecting multiple rows.
6. When you have finished assigning skills to the resource, click Close.
