Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Skills Tab

The Skills tab controls the skills assigned to a resource. Once a skill has been assigned to a resource, resource scheduling may suggest that resource for activities requiring that skill.

You can assign skills only to an individual resource. Resource pools cannot have assigned skills.

The selected resource is identified in the following two fields:

  • ID: The identifier of the selected resource.
  • Description: A label associated with the selected resource ID.

The Skills tab controls the assigned skills using the following settings:

  • Skill: The skill assigned to the resource. Before you can assign a skill to a resource, that skill must first exist on the resource file.
  • Proficiency: Enter a user-defined proficiency rating for the listed skill. The scale of the rating is determined by the end-user organization, and is used in no calculations in Open Plan.
