Assign a Resource File Using Project Properties

Use the Project Properties dialog box to assign a resource file to a project.

To assign a resource file to a project using the Project Properties dialog box:

1. In Open Plan Explorer, right-click a project folder, and click Manage Files > Check Out on the shortcut menu.
2. In the Check Out dialog box, select a project and click Check Out.
3. In Open Plan Explorer, right-click the project folder again, and click Properties on the shortcut menu.
4. In the Project Properties dialog box, click the Files tab.
5. At the right edge of the Resource Definition File field, click the ellipsis button.
6. In the Select dialog box, select the resource definition file that you want to assign to the project, and click OK.
7. If Open Plan asks you to confirm the resource definition file association, click Yes.
8. In the Project Properties dialog box, click OK.
