Assigning Costs to an Activity

Use this procedure to assign costs to an activity.

To assign costs to an activity:

1. Define cost resources in a resource file.
2. Assign the resource file to the project.
3. Select the activity to which you want to assign costs.
4. On the Resources tab of the Activity Details dialog box, assign the cost resources to the activity.
5. Click Apply.
