Use this inquiry screen to display time-phased supply and demand for a part grouped by user-defined time buckets. The inquiry can show the projected inventory at the end of a weekly or monthly bucket and the scheduled supply and demand that will affect that availability. You can select a specific time period and view supply and demand using the warehouse, all projects, a top-level project, a selected project, related projects, or a netting group as a selection criterion. Current inventory, scheduled supply and demand, and order-detail information are also displayed. This application is enabled for all inventory parts, rather than just MRP-planned parts.
Use this screen to view the supply-and-demand schedules in weekly or monthly buckets.
After specifying your options, click to run the inquiry and view the results.
Use this field to enter, or use to select, the part number for which you would like to view supply/demand information.
Use this field to enter, or use to select, the revision of the part number for which you would like to view supply/demand information. The description for the part/rev combination displays on the adjacent unlabeled field.

Select this check box to include common inventory supply/demand in the results.
Use this drop-down list to select the project-grouping option to define what inventory projects you want to view. The available options are:
All Projects — Select this option to include inventory supply and demand for all projects.
Netting Group — Select this option to include all supply and demand for inventory projects having the same netting group as the one specified in the Netting Group field. If you selected the Include Common Inventory Projects check box, the supply and demand for projects that have been specified as common inventory are also included, even though they may not have the same netting group.
Project Planning Group — Depending upon whether the part is common-stock or not, this includes all supply and demand for inventory projects that are within the same project-planning group as the project specified in the Project field. (See the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen.) If the Include Common Inventory Projects check box is selected, the supply and demand for projects that have been specified as common inventory are also included, even though they may not otherwise meet the project selection criteria.
Single Project — Select this option to include all supply and demand for the inventory project specified in the Project field. If you selected the Include Common Inventory Projects check box, the supply and demand for projects that have been specified as common inventory are also included.
Top-Level Project — Select this option to include all supply and demand for inventory projects that share the same top-level project as the project specified in the Project field. If you selected the Include Common Inventory Projects check box, the supply and demand for projects that have been specified as common inventory are also included, even though they may not have the same top-level project.

This table window displays the weekly/monthly summary for the selected part/rev combination.
This field displays the end date of the period. Weekly time buckets are used and supply/demand information within that week will be combined and displayed as a sum. The first end-of-period row shows all supply/demand that is past due as of the current date. The second row's period end date depends on which day is selected as the Ending Day of Production Week in the Configure MRP Report Print Options screen. End dates for subsequent rows will be in weekly increments. Depending on the values set in the Summary Report/Inquiry Weekly field in the Configure MRP Report Print Options screen, the time buckets displayed will change from weekly to monthly, and will continue until the value set in Summary Report/Inquiry Monthly is reached, or until the Date Cutoff is reached. Any additional supply/demand beyond this limit is summarized into a single future bucket.
This field displays the sum of all the demand quantities (in inventory unit of measure) within the period for the row.
This field displays the sum of all the supplies (in inventory unit of measure) within the period for the row.
This field displays the supply quantity adjusted for the part's yield factor (Supply Yield Quantity = Supply Quantity x Yield %). This field is displayed if you have selected the Incl Scrap/Yield % in Planning Process check box in the Configure Production Control Settings screen in Costpoint Production Control.
This field displays the sum of all the planned orders within the date range of the period for the row.
This field displays the sum of all the demands created as a result of planned orders, and which are within the date range of the period for the row.
This field displays the total available quantity after accounting for additional supply and demand.
For the first row in the table, Projected Avail Qty = On Hand Qty + Other Inv Qty + Supply Quantity - Demand Quantity (first row).
In subsequent rows, Projected Avail Qty = Projected Avail Qty (previous row) + Supply Quantity - Demand Quantity (current row).
