Define a Company's Default New Job Dimension Settings
Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can modify a company's default new job dimension settings in Resources. These settings include the profit center, agreed billing method, project type, and job status. You can also modify these settings in the company card in .
Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
To define a company's default new job dimension settings:
- On the main toolbar, click Resources .
- On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.

Select the company whose default new job dimension settings you want to modify by completing any of the following actions:
- In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the company, then select it from the grid.
- Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Company as your filter, and select the company from the grid.
- On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the company card.
- On the side toolbar of the company card, click .
- Update the default new job dimension settings as needed.
