Define Employee Access to a Client
Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can specify which employees have access to a client in Resources. To do this, you must first give the employee full client access on the Employee Basic Settings tab of the employee card. If you want to individually specify which clients an employee should have access to, use the Client Access Settings tab of the employee card. .
Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
To define employee access to a client:
- On the main toolbar, click Resources .
- On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.

Select the client whose employee access settings you want to define by completing any of the following actions:
- In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the client, then select it from the grid.
- Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Clients as your filter, and select the client from the grid.
- On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the client card.
- On the side toolbar of the client card, click .
- Click the Employee Access tab.

On the tab toolbar, click the grid options menu
and select one of the following options:
- Grant access to all users
- Grant access and display to all users
- Grant/remove access by company
- Grant/remove access by team
- Remove access for all users
- Grant access and display to selected users
- Remove access and display for selected users
