View or Update an Employee's Client-Access Settings
Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can view or modify the client-access settings for employees in Resources. You can also copy the client-access settings from one employee to another.
Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
To view or update an employee's client-access settings:
- On the main toolbar, click Resources .
- On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.

Select the employee whose client-access settings you want to view or modify by completing any of the following actions:
- In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the employee, then select it from the grid.
- Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Employees as your filter, and select the employee from the grid.
- On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information /. to display the employee card
- On the side toolbar of the employee card, click .
- Select the client that the employee will have access to.
- To copy the client-access settings from another employee to the selected employee, click Copy Client/Job Access From Another Employee on the top toolbar of the employee card.
