Current Activity Tab

Use the Current Activity tab to view the current status of report servers and report activity. You can also choose to stop a report activity.

Report Activity Grid

Use this grid to view a list of report servers and reports that are currently running.

Description

Report Activity

Click this drop-down arrow to display the following options: 

  • Print — Select this option to display the Print Preview form with the grid’s contents displayed.

  • Export to Excel — Select this option to display the Microsoft Excel application with the grid’s contents displayed.

Refresh

Click this button to reload/update the list of report activities.

Normally, Deltek PM Compass displays the current list. However, if a job finishes after you click the Current Activity tab, the list still shows that job. Click Refresh to update the list.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected report. Click Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. If you do not have the correct access rights to delete the report, a warning displays.

Use this column to view if the report is rendering, or if a report archive history snapshot is being created.

Report Name

Use this column to view the names of the reports.

Started

Use this column to view the date and time that the reporting job was started.

Status

Use this column to view the status of the report.

Report activity can have the following status:

  • Waiting — The report activity is waiting to be started.

  • Hold — The report activity is put on hold and will not run unless the user releases that hold.

  • Running — The report activity is currently running.

  • Recurring —The report activity is recurring.

  • Completed — The report activity’s run was completed without errors.

  • Cancelled — The report activity’s run was cancelled by the user.

  • Failed — The report activity has encountered an error and was halted.

Machine

Use this column to view the name of the report server that is generating the report.

JobID

Use this column to view the internal ID that is used to identify and track the report job.
