Rename a Menu Option

This procedure allows you to rename a menu option on the Navigation menu. You can change the label of any user-defined option and any system option other than the Dashboards and Workflows options.

The Dashboards and Workflows are not available for editing because they are built based on the Dashboard settings and Workflow Category list order and security, respectively.

To rename the menu option:

1. On the application toolbar, click Settings » Navigation Menu Designer. Alternatively, at the bottom of the Navigation menu, click . The Navigation Menu Designer dialog box displays.

2. In the tree list, select the menu option that you want to rename. Expanding an option displays a list of available features associated with the selected option. In addition, the area to the right displays the fields and options that you can configure to define menu options on the Navigation menu.

3. In the Menu Label field, enter the new name.

4. Click OK.
