Delete a Menu Option

Use this procedure to remove a menu option from the Navigation menu. You can only delete user-defined menu options, not those that the system provides. If you want to restrict users from seeing a particular standard menu option, you can do so in the Deltek EPM Security Administrator. For more information, see the EPM Security Administrator Help.

To delete a menu option:

1. On the application toolbar, click Settings » Navigation Menu Designer. Alternatively, at the bottom of the Navigation menu, click .

2. In the Navigation Menu Designer dialog box, right-click an option that you want to remove and click Delete on the shortcut menu.

   • You can only delete user-defined options. If you right-click an option provided with the system, the Delete option is disabled.

   • If the option you select is a user-defined parent with user-defined child options, the parent and all the user-defined child options are deleted.

3. Click OK.
