Links Tab of the Explanation of Variance Form

Use the Links tab to attach other documents and links from the Link Center of PM Compass and attach those documents and links to the Explanation of Variance form.

You can use the FileExtensions.xml file to prevent users from uploading certain file types (for example, .bat, .ps1, .dll). For more information, see Denylist Folder.

Links Tab Grid

Grid Toolbar

Option	Description
Links	Click the drop-down arrow to display the following options: Print — Select this option to open the Print Preview form with the Links Tab grid's contents displayed. Export to Excel — Select this option to open the Microsoft Excel application with the Link Tab grid's contents displayed.
New	Click this button to create a document link on the Link Center dialog box.
Associate	Click this button to associate the selected explanation of variance form with an existing link. Clicking this button displays the Link Search dialog box.
Remove	Click this button to remove the association of the link with the Explanation of Variance form. Deleting a link's association with the explanation of variance removes that particular association only.

Grid Columns

Field Name	Description
Name	This column displays the name of the link associated with the activity.
Path	This column displays the complete path of the link.
Description	This column displays the description for the link.
