Example of an Applications Dashpart

You can view the different Deltek PM Compass applications on your dashboard by creating an Applications dashpart using the Dashpart Configuration dialog box. An Applications dashpart provides you with quick access to your most commonly used PM Compass applications, such as Projects, Workflows, Reports, and Administration.

Example

Use this procedure to create an Explanation of Variance dashpart.

To create an Explanation of Variance dashpart:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Dashboard then select a dashboard.

  2. On the Dashboard toolbar, click Dashparts » Add Dashpart.

  3. On the Dashpart Configuration dialog box, select Applications from the Dashpart Type field.

  4. In the Dashpart Name field, enter a name for the dashpart.

  5. In the Alerts and Applications group box, click Configure.

  6. On the Applications Selection dialog box, expand Workflows » Explain Variance.

  7. Select the Explanation of Variance check box.

  8. Click OK.

  9. On the Dashpart Configuration dialog box, click OK.

    The dashpart displays on the dashboard with a link to the Explanation of Variance application.
