Configure Dialog Box (Workflows, Cost Analysis, and Schedule Analysis)

Use this dialog box to create workflow, Cost Analysis, or Schedule Analysis dashparts.

Search Type

Records

Select this option to manually display the workflows, control accounts, or activities that you have access using the Insert button on the toolbar.

Saved Search

Select this option to filter workflows, control accounts, or activities using a saved search. Click to display any of the following dialog boxes:

If you select a saved search, that saved search displays in the Saved Search field on the Configure dialog box. If you select some of the records returned by the saved search, the Saved Search field displays the number selected.

Saved Records

Select one of the following options from this drop-down list:

  • Print — Select this option to display the Print Preview form.

  • Export to Excel — Select this option to open the Microsoft Excel application with the grid’s contents displayed.

Insert

Click this button to add a new workflow, control account, or activity. Clicking Insert displays either the Control Account Search dialog box, the Workflow Search dialog box, or the Activity Search dialog box, depending on the type of dashpart that you are creating. You can use saved searches on these dialog boxes to filter the records that you want to display.  

Clear Row

Click this button to delete the selected row from the grid. You can delete only one row at a time.

Clear All

Click this button to delete all entries from the grid.

Grid Columns (Workflows)

Field Name

Description

Workflow ID

This column displays the workflows that you have selected on the Workflow Search dialog box. The records in this column are included on the dashpart that you are creating.

Grid Columns (Cost Analysis)

Field Name

Description

WBS

This column displays the control accounts that you have selected on the Control Account Search dialog box. The control accounts in this column will be included on the dashpart that you are creating.

Description

This column provides a description of each control account.
