Codes Tab of the Change Details View

The Codes tab displays labels for defined schedule, cost codes, and user fields for the selected control account, work package, or activity and allows the user to make changes to the code and user field values.

By setting up a coding system and assigning codes to your project, you can display project data at a summary level, a detailed level, or any level within the project. A good coding system provides clear and concise information. Among other things, codes are used for roll-up reporting, filtering, and processing.

See Codes Overview for additional information on codes.

When a control account or work package is selected in the Change Details grid, all codes for the selected row that have labels are displayed.
