Changing beginning balances for unpaid client invoices and finance charges
If any payments were applied and/or unapplied to a distribution on the invoice, you cannot change the row. However, you can add new rows, as needed, to change the total amount of the invoice. The total amount of the invoice cannot be less than the total paid amount.
- From the > Setup menu, click Company > Beginning Balances > Unpaid Client Invoices.
- Click the invoice you want to change and click Edit.
- Make changes, as needed, to the following:

- Click Save. If you have multi-company, the window closes after you save.
- Click Close.
