Remove a Paragraph (New Workspace)

Remove a user-added paragraph or subparagraph from an element to delete unnecessary content from a family or section in your project.

When you remove a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To remove a paragraph:

  1. In the Elements panel of the new workspace, select an added family, section, or product type.
    An added element displays in dark blue.
  2. On the new workspace editor, click one of the following tabs to select which part to edit:
    • Part 1 - General
    • Part 2 - Products
    • Part 3 - Execution
  3. In your selected part, locate the article that contains your desired paragraph and click to expand the article.
  4. Under the article, locate and hover over the paragraph that you want to remove.
  5. In the paragraph, select all its content/text and delete it.
    The article displays an in-line detector for a deleted track change.

  6. To confirm, click Remove.
  7. In your selected part, locate and hover over the article that you want to remove.
  8. In the article, select all its title/text and delete it.
    The paragraph displays an in-line indicator for a deleted track change.

  9. In the new workspace, click to toggle the tab's visibility.
  10. On the Track Changes tab, locate the removed paragraph's track change tip.
  11. In the track change tip, click (Accept Suggestion).
    Warning: This deletes the paragraph and all its subparagraphs permanently.
