Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Promote or Demote a Paragraph (New Workspace)

Promote or demote a user-added paragraph to adjust the outline level of your content.

When you promote or demote a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To promote or demote paragraph:

  1. In the Elements panel of the new workspace, select an added family, section, or product type.
    An added element displays in dark blue.
  2. On the new workspace editor, click one of the following tabs to select which part to edit:
    • Part 1 - General
    • Part 2 - Products
    • Part 3 - Execution
  3. In your selected part, locate the article that contains your desired paragraph and click to expand the article.
  4. Under the article, locate the paragraph that you want to promote/demote, and click its content/value to position your cursor and select the paragraph.
  5. On the editor action bar, click any of the following options:
    Option Description Shortcut
    Demote or indent the paragraph. TAB
    Promote or outdent the paragraph. SHIFT+TAB

    Click the buttons as many times as needed to promote or demote the paragraph to your desired level. You can also use the available shortcuts.

    Specpoint automatically saves the paragraph's new position.
