When you select an assembly, family, section, and product type, the following options on the top of the editor are available:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| State | Select the state in which the element currently is.
The following states are available:
The default value is New. |
| Assigned To | Select the project team member who is responsible for the workspace element. The available options for this field are the
project's team members.
The default value is Unassigned. |
| Current LOS | Select the current level of specification (LOS) for the element for the specific phase. Current LOS is a non-static value intended to be updated as elements are further developed to clarify current progress.
See Level of Specification (LOS). The default value is 100. |
| Target LOS | Select the target level of specification (LOS) for the element for the specific phase. The target LOS is intended to be determined early in the project to clarify prioritization.
The default value of the target LOS is based on the project's set Level of Specification (LOS) from project creation. A project element's target LOS overrides the project's baseline LOS only for the project element and its child elements. For example, when you set the target LOS of a family, you also set the LOS for all its product types. This includes product types that you add later. In addition, Specpoint activates or inactivates the element's LOS-associated articles and paragraphs based on the element's target LOS. |

Editor Contents for Subassemblies and Divisions
A subassembly group (assembly), subassembly type (assembly), or division element does not have content items specific to the element. Thus, the new workspace editor displays only a placeholder message. For a given subassembly, this message informs you about the performance requirements in the subassembly's parent assembly. For a given division, the message indicates that properties are unavailable on the division level.
