Modify Project Properties of an Element (New Workspace)

Modify the project properties of the selected element in the active project, such as its assigned team member and state. These modifications apply on a project level, which means that you set properties for the project element only for its instance in the project.

Before you can modify the project properties of an element, ensure that the element is in the project and is active.

To modify project properties of an element in the active project:

  1. In the Elements panel of the new workspace, select an added assembly, family, section, or product type.
An added element displays in dark blue.
  2. In the State field of the new workspace editor, select the review state in which the element currently is.
  3. In the Assigned To field, select the project team member who is responsible for the workspace element.
  4. In the Current Level of Specification (LOS) field, select the current LOS for the element for the specific phase.
  5. In the Target Level of Specification (LOS) field, select the target LOS for the element for the specific phase.
As the project element progresses and requires additional level of development, increase the level of specification (LOS) to convey detail needed for the current phase.

    See LOS-Associated Content.

  6. To save your changes, click another area of the new workspace.
