Add a new article to begin adding custom properties and paragraphs under a custom property group in a
family, section, or
product type in your project.
When you add an article, multiple rules apply and
Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

In the Project Elements pane of the
classic workspace, select an added
family,
section, or
product type.
An added eligible element displays in green.

On the
element form, click one of the following tabs to select which part to edit:
- General
- Products
- Execution

On your selected tab, locate and hover over the article after which you want to add a new article.

In the article, click
(Add Content).
A new article displays with the following placeholder: "Insert Article Name".

Click the new article and enter a unique article title.
Tip: To cancel an action, press ESC. You can use this command if you encounter an issue, such as an invalid or duplicate article title.

To save your changes, press ENTER or click a different area on the
element form.
Specpoint adds a placeholder paragraph under the new article.
