Set Styles for Outline Level Contents
As an administrator or author, set styles to determine how your section contents, which include parts, articles, and paragraphs, display in your exported project sections.
Before you set document and formatting settings, you must have a style guide selected on the Style Guides tab of the Format page.
To set styles for outline level contents:
- On the Format page, in the Document Settings pane, click Styles.
Perform steps 2 through 11 for each outline level that you want to format.

Select one of the following outline levels for which to set formatting:
- Part
- Article
- PR1
- PR2
- PR3
- PR4
- PR5
- In the Number Style field, select a numbering style for the titles or paragraphs on the selected outline level.
- Select a Font face.
- Select a Font Size.

Under Font Style, toggle any of the following font styles:
- To apply bold formatting, click .
- To apply italicized formatting, click .
- To underline, click .
- Select the Color of the font.
- In the Space Before field, enter or set the spacing value between the titles or paragraphs on selected outline level and the outline level before it.
- In the Space After field, enter or set the spacing value between the titles or paragraphs on selected outline level and the outline level after it.
- In the Tab Space to Paragraph Number field, enter or set the spacing value between the left margin and the paragraph numbering.
- In the Tab Space to Text field, enter or set the spacing value between the paragraph numbering and the title, paragraph content, or the property title, as applicable.
