Set Global Format
As an administrator or author, set the global format, such as the font, text justification, and margins, to configure how general project contents display in your exported project sections.
Before you set document and formatting settings, you must have a style guide selected on the Style Guides tab of the Format page.
To set the global format:
- On the Format page, in the Document Settings pane, click Global.

On the Global tab, under Global Font, configure the global font format:
- To use the global font for all section content items regardless of set formatting on other Document Settings tabs, select the toggle () beside the Global Font label.
- Select a Font face.
- Select a Font Size.

Under Global Font Styles, configure the global font styles:
- To use the global font style for all section content items regardless of set formatting and styles on other Document Settings tabs, select the toggle () beside the Global Font Styles label.
- To apply bold formatting, click .
- To apply italicized formatting, click .
- To underline, click .

Under Justification, select one of the following alignments:
- Align Left
- Center
- Align Right

Under Page Margins, enter the margin values for project pages:
- In the Left field, enter the amount, in inches, of spacing from the left edge of the page.
- In the Right field, enter the amount, in inches, of spacing from the right edge of the page.
- In the Top field, enter the amount, in inches, of spacing from the top edge of the page.
- In the Bottom field, enter the amount, in inches, of spacing from the bottom edge of the page.
