Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Results Tab

Use the contents of this tab to view the list of all available projects or the search results based on the project filters. You can also access comprehensive data for each project in the list.

All Search Results

The following table shows the column headers of the All Search Results list on the Results tab:

Field Description
Updated This column displays only if you selected the My Specpoint Projects Only filter.

This displays the date when a user from your A/E firm last updated the project.

Project Name This column displays only if you selected the My Specpoint Projects Only filter.

This displays the project's name or description.

Project Number This column displays only if you selected the My Specpoint Projects Only filter.

This displays the project number.

State/Province This displays the state where the project is located.
Owner This column displays only if you selected the My Specpoint Projects Only filter.

This indicates the individual, organization, or authority that owns the project's building or facility.

Building Type This displays the building's type or purpose.

Contract Type This displays the construction contract type for parties involved in the project's design and construction.

Construction Type This displays the types of materials used in the project's construction and structure's resistance to fire.

Sustainability This displays the multiple environmental codes to which the project adheres.

Construction Budget This displays the budget range for the project's construction.

Project Phase This displays the architectural design phase in which the project currently is.

Level of Specification This displays the project's current level in the Level of Specification (LOS) schema that Specpoint conceptualized which complements Level of Development (LOD) and tracks progress and prioritization.

Details Click View in the project's row to display the Project Overview Data window and view the project's overview information, families, and manufacturers.

You can click each header to sort the list of projects by that header's column.

The following table shows the options on the Results tab:

Export Results Click this button to export the list of projects as a CSV, XLSX, or PDF file.
